These are the most attractive, well built bar stools (or any furniture item for that matter) I have ever seen. They are very sturdy and quite heavy, being made of hardwood (appears to be solid oak). The 360 degree swivel mechanism is rock solid and glides easily. All assembly hardware/screws are machine threads going into metal inserts rather than simply wood screws into wood, which over time will continuously become loose and finally strip out, ending up with a wobbly and eventually broken stool. They will last a lifetime and add beauty to any room. They are easy to assemble and well worth the cost! I am impressed (...obviously, or I would not take the time on my Saturday to write this review)! I depend on the reviews I read to make any purchase so I am taking the time to reciprocate the favor!

How to assemble the chair:
Attach legs, but do not tighten the screws holding the legs.
Attach the ring to the legs.
After attaching the ring, it is time to tighten the legs screws. You will want to tighten the screws until they are snug. Do this for all the legs.
Then tighten the screws holding the ring.
Then go bag to the legs and tighten them too.
Now attach the back rest, but start with the center hole. You will not want to tighten the screw all the was, just enough to hold the backrest.
Now attach they other 4 screws.
Having a powered screwdriver is recommended but now required...

Good price/delivery/instructions/sturdieness and appearance. I am wondering what the best on-going cleaning and tightening works the best? I also am puzzled by the different list prices for the shorter and longer heights. Overall very pleased!
Beautiful greige color, they went wonderfully with my living room set. It really added something to my new place. Absolutely love these bar stools, they were easy to assemble and the price was fair.

Very high quality barstool.
These barstools are super high quality, and I ordered 5 of them. Love them! My only criticism is that the legs on a couple were uneven. Easy fix.
