My daughter wanted her room redone for her birthday. She has a small room and a needed a desk, so a loft bed was perfect! It is wobbly but thats expected since the legs are so skinny. As others have said the ladder bars hurt your feet, but pipe foam is the perfect fit! I would not anchor this to the wall with how wobbly it can get when making the bed. It would rip the wall, but its sturdy enough to not topple over. If it does then your kid is horse playing. Im 144lbs and I get up there just fine. We removed the fan on the ceiling and just put a light in its place, since the room is small, but we did anchor a table top fan to the wall for circulation and it works great. She loves the desk at the bottom! It was not hard to put together with 2 people and maybe took us an hour and half to do. Instructions were easy to follow. Overall great bed! Would buy again if I needed one.

Im a 20 year old woman in college annnnnnd I would like to be able to get down n dirty without an earthquake happening all around me! all of my books fell off the attached desk and it felt like the bed was going to collapse.
Might also have been that Im pretty tall and 150 pounds and I chose a 65 very fit muscular and therefore very heavy man to sleep with that night! maybe a little too much weight for the bed it was DEFINITELY worth it but also the bed CERTAINLY could not handle another night of this lolllll
If you want a bed for your no-sex-having child oOR want to be able to bust your child having sex because itll be so damn loud creaky and generally San-Andreas-Esque, go for it. If you want to ever have a partner on this bed with you please invest in something actually sturdy.
Bought for my 11yr old son. Went with the gray color, love it. Very sturdy. Does not make any noise when you move around on it. Hubby says its easy to put together instructions were easy to follow. Worth the purchase!
After putting it together several different times, we love it! Sturdy, well built and lots of unlabeled pieces. Screws should have identifiable packages and that would have saved us hours of work!

We purchased this bed for our 4 year old son. The bed is extremely sturdy, to the point where Ive climbed up the ladder and sat or laid with him several times and felt perfectly safe doing so. It doesnt wobble or move. The wood seems like its really good quality and Im very pleased with it so far.
The reasons for my 4 star review instead of 5 are the instructions are nearly impossible to read, and there was a large dent in one of the main wood pieces. I didnt want to bother returning it because he really needed a bed, we had already thrown out his other one earlier that day, and we were able to put it in the back of the bed against the wall so no one can see it. The instructions had NO words - only numbers and pictures, some of which were helpful, and others which were incredibly difficult to figure out. It took me and my husband several hours to assemble it. To be fair, we had been drinking a bit, so... take that with a grain of salt I guess. But my husband is a pro at assembling new furniture and even he said the instructions were ridiculously hard to understand.
Overall we are very happy with our purchase and our son is sleeping like an angel in his new big boy bed!

Strong and steady
It wouldve been better if there were ladders on both sides of the loft, for more options for room placement.
