Great tent overall, but not so easy to setup

Im sure we will learn how to set this up over quickly and easily over time, but our first time setting this tent up took a long time, and was not easy, even with instructions [enter married couples argument here! ahem]. We do love the color and the space that the tent provides though and look forward to many more family camping trips.

    Survived the storm, stayed dry

Took it out the first time for four nights in the woods. The last night there was a thunderstorm that got us good. However we stayed nice and dry in the

    Happy with this tent

This tent is perfect for a family of 4. We were comfortable, spacious and dry. The privacy is great unlike what a few reviews mentioned. Im 58 and I could stand inside.

    Amazing value for $$

Have went on two camping trips so far with this tent and it has been outstanding. I have yet to see how it performs during a heavy downpour so cant comment on that. Overall this is really excellent value. Large enough for a family and tall enough that it allows you to stand up. Very easy to set up as well. I hardly ever write any reviews but this tent deserve one.

    Handles Rain like a CHAMP!

I camp every year in HARSH conditions. And every year...it rains on us like crazy. When I purchased this tent, I like that the bottom tarp of the tent wrapped UP the sides about 8 inches. Thats KEY for waterproofing from ground water. The other criteria was that the rainfly came down over the tent enough to really cover the windows and zippers. Rain usually finds its way in there. It also has ample head height and if you hang a light in it, it will be a nice bright tent. Quick setup and tear down as well. Either way, Ive used this for 3 trips (all had severe rain...because thats my camping life) and every time, I stayed BONE DRY, and so did my stuff! Its so waterproof that I can leave the doors and windows open without getting water in. I like it so much a couple of my buddies got the same one and now we joke like were a bunch of rich campers in the Evanston 8 good sir!!! hell of a tent. Highly recommended.

    Not an 8 person tent

Nice tent. Easy to set up. Not an 8 person tent though. Fitting 8 would be very squishy. 5 is more ideal.

Size is good.. the porch will leak if it rains and drip all night on the tarp with a great noise

    Great size and quality

Definitely bigger than I was expecting! Went up easy, came down easy, and had plenty of room inside. Could easily fit a full/queen air mattress with some room to maneuver around. Love it!! The only issue I can think of is bugs can get trapped up at the top, under the cover. Which can be annoying when youre trying to take down the tent and have a bunch of bugs flying into your face
