It was delivered fast as promised, it was easy to assemble and I like the quality. The only reason I gave 4 starts is because one of the plastics that holds the lumber cane broken. I will email the seller to see if they can replace it.
The bed itself is great. I purchased the assembly as well , and it was well worth it. I took one star out for 2 reasons : 1- the bed came with the back of the headboard damaged. Yes...it is in the back, but still, I purchased a brand new item, not a used one. 2- I did read the reviews on the grey not being quite grey, but the fact is , it doesnt even have a hint of grey. It is kinda taupe/light brownish , no grey at all. And I am not color blind. Had the bed had even a hint of grey, as it is the advertised color, I would have given it a 5 stars (even with the tears on the back on the headboard ). I would have loved a true gray as it would have fit my bedroom color scheme much better. I am not keen on the color, only a matter of taste, nothing wrong with the color itself. If the maker/seller happens to read this feedback, please make more colors ! Black pleather or taupish brown are not enough choices.
That said, this bed is comfortable, good support, lots of storage, easy to pull up and down.
I also wish the headboard were a couple of inches higher. With a thick mattress and pillows, it all comes up pretty high and not enough of the headboard shows. Minor issue, something that could be improved on.
Very sturdy and very stylish. Has held up well and I am very satisfied with the purchase. Was pretty easy to put together. I did everything by myself up until the very last step which would require two people, one to put together and one to steady
Very disappointing. The mattress is constantly sliding over and anytime you move it the middle wood slats come out. Very difficult to fix! With that said, Im giving it 3 stars for being affordable and making my little boy happy.
I have had this since Fall of 2015. During that time, I have moved twice (just finishing up my second over).
Set up: Extremely easy to set up the first time. Nothing complicated, it comes with any tools needed, and does not take too long. 5/5
Appearance: Looks great! Very sleek and stylish, definitely a winner here, 5/5.
Durability: The material (faux leather or whatever its called) is very durable. Extremely hard to scratch or tear, holds up very well and doesnt stain. Ive put it through a lot between how I treat it and the multiple moves and there is no signs of damage to the surface. 5/5
Moveability: this is why I gave it 4/5 stars, with this category being about how easy it is to move. When moving, the parts themselves arent bad. Sides pop up and off, bamboo beams slide out easily. The bar in the center stays attached to both ends, so you must be easier on it as one wrong twist could pull out a screw or mess with the angle its connected at to the ends at. Very light, but I suggest having a helper to stabilize that center beam/end piece.
The biggest issue is with the re-assemble stage. On the initial setup, its very easy to get all the bamboo support in between the center and respective sizes. When setting it back up, its a pain and takes a while. Before, you snap the holders into the center beam with the bamboo already connected in the side holders. On reassemble, you cant do this as those center plastic holders do not come out. Its like.a balancing act where you have to try to get them to all stay in the center while trying to get them into the side holders.
After this, durability was solid on one side but had some issues with the other and the supports not being as tense and the side coming a bit lose. Kinda easy to fix just annoying.
Overall, great frame, especially if you dont plan on moving. Worth it for the money.
As a note, I got this for a 12 inch memory foam full side mattress.
Note: I paid for this and believe it is worth the price. No one asked me to do this review.
