I love that is a really good quality product n my son loves it i did purshase a xl twin and it fit perfectly no gaps overall i love everything about it
the package arrived a little damaged, and a lot of the hardware fell out of the little blister pack, but surprisingly all of the hardware was there. The box is pretty heavy, youll need a 2 man lift, might even be a good idea to pull it out of the box when its dropped off and move the individual pieces to the room for assembly.
Assembly is pretty straightforward. itll seem like theres a lot going on, but the instructions are a good reference. Good tip is to kinda loosely fasten all of the connections until its fully assembled, then tighten after. There arent any rattles or creaks, even after some time. Build quality is pretty nice, and lots of people customize theirs to suit their needs. If this purchase was up to me, I wouldnt have gotten it, because in a 10x10 room itll take up a lot of space. My job isnt to make home decor decisions though, its only to assemble things my wife buys and nod my head in agreement.
Instructions pretty well-written. It does take time to assemble but thats to be expected. It was a warehouse deal and supposedly there was missing hardware but I had everything needed. Very well-made and attractive. Would buy again.
Assembly took quite a bit of time but fortunately I am handy so it was not too bad. You do have to pay very close attention to a couple of the steps otherwise you will end up on final steps and will have to reverse everything to make sure the ladder is lined up with the holes on the right rails.
I read a lot of the reviews before I purchased this and saw where many people advise that having extra slats under the mattress was better. I definitely agree with this and actually added two extra slats per bed giving each bed nine slats. Using just the seven slats that it comes with would be problematic and will not hold enough weight or your child may end up falling between them.
Once the bed is built it is extremely sturdy and looks really nice. I have them stacked and the bottom bunk is high enough that I have more than sufficient amount of room for storage underneath. I would definitely purchase this again.
Very nice, solid bunk bed. I had someone else assemble it so I cant personally speak to the difficulty but it did take a while to build. Once build it is great looking and very sturdy. I recommend, especially for the price.
Honestly. wow. This is sturdier than and somehow all the wood used is real wood, not composite. Which means, it feels better on your hand and is lighter than the massmarket counterpart. One piece of info I was looking for is, from the FLOOR to the underside of the bed is 28, in case you were interested in putting a dresser underneath it. If that doesnt work for you, there are very cheap risers on that can help boost it up those last 1-4 inches needed to clear for underbed storage.
Also, Not installing the staircase does not seem to affect the sturdiness of the structure. Once install it is solid and does not creak or waver. Pleasantly surprised and delighted by this.
