My kids love their beds. I also bought two in black for my boys as well. If their not on their beds their under them. The white one did arrive damaged. The shelf has a few good sized cracks on it that are noticeable but they were on the end so I decided to just build it anyways. Me and my 14 year old daughter put them together ourselves. Took us about 5 hours for each bed.
A little expensive I think, but still a good value I believe. It feels quiet sturdy and has a metal bar that runs down the middle which seems to help reinforce it. Our daughter hasnt slept on it yet as its a surprise, but I will update if any issues arise. So far Im happy with both its functionality and fun elements. She has a small room so fitting storage and an extra little hideaway/reading nook was key to imizing space. She is a very tall 5 year old, but I think this will last a little while for her needs. Easy assembly though a little tedious. Instructions were thorough and easy to read/follow. Do need a drill just to keep in mind.
Update, so far no issues, and our daughter Loves her bed. She has a fun play area under it and the slide does well. She learned after first run how to land with her feet so she doesnt hit her bottom. Her older brothers now want a loft bed too lol
Ive had this base for 6 years now, and while I agree with the reviews that talk about it being kind of flimsy, this base has been fantastic for me and now resides in our guest bedroom. I slept on it for 3+ years before getting married and purchasing a bedroom set. If I didnt have to reposition it after assembly, I wouldnt even know it was flimsy and in need of some reinforcement. I will look in to the reinforcements that people mention here, because I never looked into it when I originally bought the base. As for customer service, they are great! They are sending me replacement parts lost in our move despite my purchase being outside of the warranty period.
I think this is a great base for a starter or a smaller room, since it has the storage space underneath, eliminating the need for a dresser or other clothes storage.
THIS BED IS NOT EASY TO ASSEMBLE AND THE INSTRUCTIONS LITERALLY HAVE NO WORDS. Pieces are cut all kinds of wrong. The two pictures here show the rails the desk is supposed to slide into underneath the desk. The rail is cut 2 centimeters too short so the screw split the wood several times. Both my husband and I tried to reposition it several times before having to add a random piece of wood to it This happened with the desk, the bed, AND the dresser. If you can afford a higher quality bed take that option. It is a beautiful bed for the price. But the quality of the pieces and how they come together is miserable. YOU WILL NEED A DRILL.
This is by far one of the best pieces of furniture weve ever bought. I definitely recommend if your child has a small room and lots of stuff the loft bed is the best way to go. There is tons of extra space. Best part about this bed is the slide can be removed when needed and the ladder and slide can go on either side. I read the reviews and was scared to buy this bed but I went with my gut and Im so glad we did because it is by far way better than all the negative reviews that we read. It was easy to put together, The instructions were easy to read, A regular mattress works just fine on it. We havent had any issues with it. The support is amazing 7 slabs of wood across and one long metal bar through the middle underneath the bed to help with support we didnt find it wobbling or difficult The slide its perfect we didnt find it to slanted for our daughter she really enjoys it.
The bed is nice but kinda cheap. I do wish the dressers where deeper than what they are. Also I wish there was caps to cover the screws so it looks a little nicer.

Great Value, Hard to Move
