Holes for assembly actually line up!

We needed a bunk for our cottage. It is in the same room as a queen bed, so we wanted to coordinate looks. I didnt want it to overwhelm the room with our clipped ceilings. AND I wanted to be able to make the bed with out having Cirque Du Soliel pulleys hoisting me up. This low bunk does the trick. I centered it on the window wall rather than in a corner. So much easier to make a bunk bed. This does not have as much space between the bunks as I would like. But its better than others. Even the 7 year old can not sit up straight in the bottom bunk. But I used the 8+ in twin mattress we had from before. If I bought one, Id go with a 6 or possibly 5 in mattress for more head room. But its fine. It works for people with little ones - they wont get hurt if they roll out of bed. ASSEMBLY: You need 2 people, and you need to look at the picture instructions VERY closely to make sure you have left vs right side, inside vs outside, etc. If you do that, the holes line up perfectly. We used the Allen wrench that came with the set. Thats all we needed. It took us several hours, but it has a nice solid feel. There are less expensive versions of low bunks. I wanted at least 30-36 in of headroom. And I wanted to be able to assemble it with the least amount of drama, trauma and swear words. Its worth the extra money.

    Outstanding customer service.

Easy to assemble. A bit shorter than we thought but perfect for our little one to sleep on the bottom. The ladder hinge broke kind of quickly, BUT the company quickly sent me replacement hardware no questions asked. Outstanding customer service.

    Wrong bed delivered

Receiver a completely different bed. Only was a loft bed, not a bunk bed.

    Horrible, Unsafe Quality

We bought both the natural wood AND the white bunks for our kids. They seemed like they would work out great. Even most of the reviews are good. But buyers, please beware!!! After about six months of use, they both began to fall apart. Screws were coming out and the guardrails were breaking. The ladders also started to break. This was frightening as our children could have been hurt. These bunks are NOT SAFE. If you search through the lower ratings, you will see that this has happened to other people. Unless you are okay with throwing money away and purchasing new bunks soon, I would search for something else. And yes, this happened to BOTH of our bunk beds with different kids.

Nice loft bed for young child

It wasnt difficult to assemble and didnt require any tools that werent included. My 4 year old loves it and Im amazed by having more space than before! Theres a lot of room underneath for storage or playing. It moves a little when someones in it, but it feels sturdy.

    Take your time assembling

This was the perfect height for my 3 year old granddaughter. And the 1 year old likes climbing on the bed thats low to the floor.

    Infuriating to assemble

This bunk bed is acceptable for the price. But I would definitely AVOID purchasing because assembly is so difficult. Im not sure if other customers received better assembly instructions but this was the most frustrating and confusing piece of furniture we have ever put together. I never write reviews but I needed to let future customers know. TOTAL PAIN AND HEADACHE!!!!
