This bed was easy to assemble and made of solid wood. Both of my young daughters really like their new beds. I cant comment on the longevity of them since they were recently assembled and will be used at a vacation home.

Looks very nice, only one part is not made of wood and dont know why. Assemble instruction should be much more clear. MDF board has a dent but I do not care because it is invisible under bad.
Just make sure you dont get the screws mixed up! I spent an hour trying to get part of this bed together when I realized the slightest difference in the two sets of screws they give you. SOOOO, make sure you keep the screws in the labeled package and are using the correct ones for everything. Other than that, it was really easy to put together and works great. I will say that I bought a zinnus 8 memory foam mattress and I really had to squish to get it to fit inside the frame. Could stand a little more room there, not sure why they would make a bed that only fits box springs when a lot of people arent buying those anymore for kids beds.
The frame is fairly simple to assemble and the instructions are average in how comprehensible they are; that shouldnt be a problem for most. My complaint is that the frame gets the bed 1 foot off of the floor, which is great to get some storage boxes to store sheets, comforters, etc while living in a small apartment. No. Not possible. The frame boards go down to leave only 6 inches (at best) to slide anything under and that really kills some of the practicality of having the bed frame, as I could have just left my bed laying on the floor and achieved the same result without laying out the money for the frame. And there really is no purpose, perhaps a little aesthetic value, to having the board drop down 6 inches. I would gladly take a 4-inch board and have some space for storage than 2 more inches of faux wood.

Not bad for the price. Only have for 3months but teenage heavy boys. Holding well
