Be prepared for holes not to line up

The ladder for some odd reason was the only one to be misaligned, I had to align and route a new hole in order for the screws to slide through and tighten it to the rest of the frame. Otherwise it’s sturdy and seems to hold well, instructions were pretty easy to understand for set up. I do recommend screwing in the screws pretty loosely to just have enough of a hold before tightening all the way to prevent having to screw back and forth if something is wrong or misaligned.

    Solid Bed

This is a high quality loft bed. I bought two for my kids that share a room and they look fantastic. Sturdier than I expected, and probably about as sturdy as a loft bed can be, but they do wobble a bit when kids climb up the ladder. I bought my own wall anchors instead of using the included pieces, and that really helped with the wobbling once I double bolted them into wall studs. My only warning that I haven’t seen in other reviews is to wear gloves or bandaids on your fingers to avoid blisters when putting this together. The instructions are really clear and straightforward, but there are like 20,000 bolts and most of them require a hefty amount of finger tightening before using the always awkward Allen wrenches in tight spaces. I put two of these together by myself because apparently I’m bad at planning and life is pain. I used kitchen chairs to prop up the sides when it was time to assemble the larger pieces at right angles, so you could do that too, or spare yourself and wrangle some help from someone. It took me about 3 hours per bed and RIP to my fingers. Totally worth it for the end result, tho. Definitely recommend.

    Space saver !

Definitely a great bed for small rooms. I threw out my eldest daughter’s bed and got this one for the purpose of needing extra storage space for my newborns clothes and other necessities. I was able to fit 4 plastic drawers and a 3 shelve console table underneath the bed. And I still had space on the other side for the bulky boxes. Bed is pretty sturdy and my daughter likes it .

    Bunk bed

Really like this bed. It is sturdy and compact. We will zip tie the ladder to the bed to save space. That worked well. Takes time to construct but not difficult. Ordered two memory mattresses. Now just have to wait for the grandkids to come!!

    Great Space Saving Loft Bed!

My 9 and 5 year-old kids share a room. My initial set up was using the ikea Flysta bookcases to divide the room-- that could have been great if their room has a bit more sq ft of space! So I kept looking and searching for new ideas on Pinterest and YouTube etc. I want each kid to have their own space but not to sacrifice the overall space in the room. Finally I decided to use loft beds. I myself had one when I was little. BUT I didnt like that straight ladder and small desk with built in wardrobe under the bed. I think this simple loft bed with walk-in desk area is better. Kids can put whatever they prefer behind the desk and the desk is a good size too! Its like they each have their own cubicle! I have attached 2 pictures. Yes its pretty messy but u get the idea. I also had to take a risk not knowing if I could fit 2 loft beds (~80 inches each) side by side in the room (but it was perfect fit like custom made!) Also the bed is sturdy! I am not light and I climbed on the ladder and even briefly sat on the bed without problem . Assembly took like 2 hours with 2 people. One person assembly would be hard and u need to have a platform/ cabinet/ ladder to help hold on to the loft bed pieces. But all in all, instruction is easy to follow, wood feels solid and sturdy ( our navy beds are up for a month and dont have wood cracking problem like the other reviewer... theirs may actually be paint cracking?), also great design! Oh and my 2 kids love it! * Maybe I was lucky... both of the loft beds arrived with fine packaging, wood is fine with only minor not-so-smooth area on the inside of 1 ladder and no dent/ chip/ missing parts!
