very easy to assembletook me about an hour. came with tools to assemble. such a great space saver, my kids love it. i bought a bunk bed from ikea and within 3 months it was squea and my kids didnt like it.this has been a lifesaver!
Purchased this frame without the trundle, as we have a 10/inch mattress on top and plan to purchase another 10/inch mattress for underneath. (There is about 11 inches of clearance beneath the bed, so a trundle would limit the lower mattress to 8 inches or less, which is not ideal for adult guests.) Setup took a leisurely 45 minutes, but doable in 20/30 minutes. Good instructions, and parts have numbered stickers. Plus, it includes a handy ratcheting hex tool that was surprisingly nice to use (unlike those cheap hex tools that come with IKEA furniture). Were using it as a daybed but have taken several naps and even slept overnight. Feels sturdy and secure, with no squea. Wish it was about 50 cheaper, but happy with the purchase.
We have has this bed less then a month and it had only been used 3nights when the wheels off the trundle broke off. 2 of them to be exact. Im still paying for this bed.
