This bed serves its purpose well at our house. We purchased two of these to set up a bedroom for our two youngest granddaughters. Not sure that I would recommend for everyday use for children over the age of 13 or so, but for every other weekend for our granddaughters they are great. I dont feel there is enough bolts holding everything in place for an everyday bed (you would probably have to check and tighten bolts every month or so, but for those setting up a room for children that will not be there all the time, definitely a purchase to look into.
Its a great bed. I put it together by myself and it took about 4 hours. Wasnt that hard. I would recommend wiping down after with a wet towel to get excessive paint off my 3 year old loves his bed.
not happy with the ladder mount, actually pinches the full size mattress, putting sheets and blankets onto bed very difficult. also adding 1/4 smooth sided plywood to top of slat supports for piece of mind.
Love this bed, but beware the box springs will not fit on the bottom full bed. If you like a firm sleep this might be a challenge. We are going to try adding a piece of plywood under the mattress to make it firmer.

My husband and I put this together in about 2 hrs with an additional 30/45 mins of prep time (unboxing and getting everything in order)
One piece did have a small crack, but it did not limit its use and all parts were in the boxes with detailed instructions.

Live this bed!! Was so easy to put together, did it with only one one person. Great directions and great quality. My love it!
