I am so happy that I purchased this bed! Very sturdy and high quality. Made from real solid wood, no pressboard! It tool about an hour for my husband and i to put together. I reccomend that you have someone help you, as it would be hard to assemble alone. The price on is also fabulous, WAY cheaper than direct from the site. I would def purchase again!
I accidentally ordered the trundles rather than the twin captain's beds, but they have worked out fine, as we can use the trundle like a giant drawer until the boys get big enough to have friends over for the night. The beds went together perfectly and they are very sturdy and well-made. The blue is beautiful, and the finish is so tough that water rings easily wipe away. The only thing I had to do was put the bed feet on rubber squares in order to keep the bed from sinking into the carpet so that the trundles would pull out more easily. The trundles, like the drawers of the captain's beds, are "free floating," and do not run on any sort of rail.

I read the reviews and read a lot about “oh there are no instructions to put it together” heads up guys, there are no instructions with the LEGO sets either but you still put them together. So the instructions are easy to discern pictures that tell you exactly what screws to use and what goes where. It went together easy and looks very pretty! Good buy for the money!
Honestly I love this frame! The quality is way higher than I expected for the price! Beautiful color, very sturdy, easy to assemble. The only reason I gave it a 4 star review is because they forgot a part for one of the drawers making one drawer unusable but once I receive that I’ll update it to a 5 star review because this product definitely deserves it!

Holes for slats were not pre-drilled. Took my adult son 2 days to assemble! Sturdy, Grandsons love it. Easy to slide 2nd bed in and out. After reading reviews, I bought 7 inch memory foam mattress for botton bed which has worked great! But nothing bigger would have fit! Drawers are great for storage of extra bedding and toys!
High price tag and shipping rate! Quality is "okay" but won't know until it's been used for a period of time. Framework of the trundle and drawers appear flimsy, again will have to see how it holds up to use. With a bit more effort in construction, the bolts holding it together could have been hidden/counter sunk and covered with wooden pegs. Seeing the gold hardware makes it look cheap.

Hubby opened the box, seemed to me to have alot of pieces. Took about 3 hours to put together. Love it looks great in the room for grandkids.
