This bed took forever to assemble (2 people at least 3 hours—its a bazillion parts and a LOT of work). I bought this for a 14-year olds room. The metal frame cross braces bent, and manufacturer charged to replace pieces, which bent again. I believe pulling the bed open (as its designed) caused the metal frame to bend, its almost like the frame folded in 1/2. Tho its an attractive looking bed, and a brilliant storage idea for smaller spaces, its poorly executed frame is very poor quality. Really only suitable for occasional use in a guest room, as long as you dont need to open it.
I love our new platform bed it came with easy to follow directions and was just as easy to put together. Was even able to use my head board by mounting to the wall over the frame. Great buy!
There were significant missing pieces when the bed was delivered, and it took nearly a month before the replacement pieces were delivered. This was extremely frustrating and meant I had to reschedule the corresponding assembly appointment
Home Services were great at helping resolve this, and the bed itself is great - the one star is because of the missing pieces and the amount of time taken for them to finally be delivered.
Love it I didnt realize how big the package was a10 ft box on my front porch when I got home from work. I got it together in no time. Even my dog loves it but more than me see doesnt want to share the bed now.
Had some trouble getting the lift in place, but overall it wasnt too difficult to put together, just time consuming. It took me 3 hours by myself. Lots of room when bed lifts up for storage.
This bed is beautiful, sturdy, and the directions were easy for two guys to put together. The box is huge and heavy though, you will need help lifting it.
The bed itself is 5 stars. For less than $300, it looks like it could be $1,000+ (could easily be CB2). Its modern, luxe, and functional - the top part of the bed opens easily and the extra storage is a clutter-saver. Highly recommend the bed.
That said, the process of getting the bed delivered properly was inconvenient. The first delivery did not include all required parts and it was more difficult than one would expect for them to send the right parts (multiple failed attempts by before delivered an entirely new bed). Throughout this, maintained an excellent level of customer service, assisting me and even issuing a refund after - the right solution in this situation.
Im happy to say it was worth the wait!
