Heres a pretty detailed review because I feel this is necessary. I looked for a couch/futon for MONTHS that was inexpensive and modern-looking. I had my doubts about almost every listing I saw on every platform I searched on. The reviews were always 50/50 and I stressed about sealing the deal on every couch. I finally pulled the trigger on this one and I do not regret it AT ALL.
Its an inexpensive couch, I did not expect it to be the most comfortable thing ever. But I cant even complain about the comfort - it is comfy to sit on and Ive taken many naps on it so far.
I was not necessarily looking for a futon, but found that most inexpensive couches were mostly futons or sleepers. I have a twin size mattress topper that fits on it perfectly should someone need to sleep on it (it is not comfortable enough for a guest to sleep on - pretty stiff on your back).
It functions as a recliner as well, with multiple settings the lean back and can do different angles on the left and right side.
Assembly - took less than 5 minutes. You just screw legs in (there are 6 total).
Package - was certainly heavy (as expected). I opened it on my front porch and removed the couch itself instead of attempting to lift the box.
PSA - the legs and screws are located inside the couch in a pocket on the backside. It clearly states this but took me a moment to discover.
Moral of the story, dont overthink this purchase. I think it was well worth it.
For what its worth, the value is there for both functions. I personally would not want to spend more than one night in a row sleeping on this convertible, nor would I subject a guest to sleeping on it for any period of time. The part that connects the two pieces (seat and backrest) leaves a solid bar through the middle of the mattress when it is folded down so you have to sleep on one side of the bar or the other. Also, if youre 6ft+ your feet will dangle well off the edge. As a sofa, its fairly comfortable and leaves plenty of elbow room for 2-3 people. The construction is solid and the folding mechanism is extra simplified compared to a traditional futon/sofa sleeper, but I would be cautious not exceed weight limits. Would have given it a better rating if it slept better and was slightly longer. Still, if your looking for something inexpensive, lightweight, and versatile this is a great pick.
Although it took two delivery people to bring it in because of the weight and volume of the package, it assembled quickly and easily and is very comfortable
I absolutely love this convertible sofa. Because I spend so much time in my office space, and need to take frequent breaks from sitting at my desk, this was perfect. It doesnt take up much space at all, no matter what position it is in. It is extremely comfortable and sturdy for my needs/wants.
The assembly was easy and all of the parts were easy for me to find. It was packaged well and delivered in a timely manner.
I purchased this item back in February 2021 and I couldnt be happier with it. I am 50/125 lbs.
Its cheap and easy to assemble/move, but comfort is not the best. Its honestly worth the price and HIGHLY recommend if you will be living in a temporary housing situation.
Good product for the price. The bottom along half the zipper was ripped when I got it. This is a bit silly, but there are no instructions as to how the back goes down. You just have to play with it to figure it out.

It makes a better couch than a bed

Good value for the money

Love it!
Exactly how it looks in the picture and just what we needed. Nice and firm. Sturdy enough for my teenager and great for small spaces.
Perfect For Me........

Very nice
I bought this to go in our camper. It is very nice and the kids loved sleeping on it when went camping. Would recommend.
Small, Convenient, and You Get what you pay for

Good for what you pay

Excellent product for the price
For the price its great, but it is smaller than a regular couch. Im glad I got this instead of a futon.
