Seems like a decent patio umbrella that covers our pool loungers well. The only thing I noticed right away is the fabric seems a little thin compared to other umbrellas weve purchased in the past, but it still provides needed protection from the sun. Well see how the fabric holds up over the summer season and Ill update my review later. Setup was easy. We filled the base with 3 50 lb bags of sand.
I had shopped for umbrellas for our Lifetime picnic tables. At first all I found were round umbrellas. This umbrella provides shade for the 6 people seated at the table but also covers people seated at the ends in chairs. The umbrellas were reasonably priced. Upon receipt of the 4 I ordered I took one out of the box. I have never really attempted to construct something like this. The directions were very clear and it was all assembled, including the sand, in approximately 45 minutes. It was an extremely hot day out so we used the umbrella almost right away. I am so glad that I continued to shop instead of settling for something else.
This umbrella was perfect to shade our bright front porch. Some of our neighbors have asked about it and we recommend it highly. Its made our porch useable all afternoon and evening. It was easy to put together and seems sturdy (or at least my 5 yo hasnt destroyed it yet!)
We purchased an additional base. The
One with umbrella is filled with sand bags and covered with fabric. We got a more
Portable one. But the one it comes with probably works.
So far I really like the umbrella. The mechanisms work well and the coverage is wonderful. There are detailed instructions. Not that hard but as I was threading the bottom pole to the umbrella it threaded wrong and wouldnt let me unscrew it. Stuck fast in the wrong position. Finally sprayed it with DW40 and it came apart and went together just fine. Im careful not to leave it up when not in use just because it is so large and I live in a windy area. I wish the ties were a little longer. You have to embrace the umbrella (again its large) to put the ties together then really pull them tight before tying it closed. Sort of awkward. They give you sand bag covers and a frame to put them in. Then there is a cover for the frame. I like that as it hides the sandbags.

Good Solution for the Money
