this is a well made product. It was easy to assemble and adjust. I traveled all day long @ LEGOLAND California and the battery charge only dropped 2 lights, which is not even half way discharged. I have run it around at home quite often and have never come close to running out of battery charge. Rather than purchase a 50 and up cover. I went to Walmart and got a BBQ cover for 12 and it covers completely no problem. I also purchased a 12ft Schlage 994862 flexible cable from to be able to lock it up, sense we keep it on our front porch. I run the cable by starting Thru the rear lifting handle, then up through the seat back, then through the steering wheel, then back down through the battery pack handle and run it around a deck post and secure the loops with the lock. Works great, that way ALL the removable parts are secure.
Easy to drvecharges over night comes appart for putting into car or drive up on chair liftusing for 93 year woman and she has no problem backing up and turninglike the four wheel for stability.
Needed something to use in stores as I could not use a walker due to the problem of standing or walking for any length of time. Checked on line for one that had 4 wheels and offered the best deal and price. Since I live in a cottage type home, scooter is not a good choice but does well in homes with more space. Due to terrain in my yard, was unable to use walker but this scooter enabled me to get around all over with a little bit of bumpiness in rough areas, which I could not even get around with the walker. Great price and does great outside for my needs. I keep the battery pack inside during the cold weather. Scooter is under roof with a cover on my deck the rest of the time. Suggest you purchase a cover no matter where you keep it. Even though it fits in my SUV if I remove seat and collapse the handles down, Im thinking of getting a carrier to attach on the back, easier for me to travel alone and get the scooter onto the ground. Would recommend this to those in need of a very good and inexpensive scooter.
Great riding Scoter , We have driven to Texas road well .The Only thing It need to make wider turns . . We are gritting ready to take it on a Carnival Cruise Line with keep you updated . Thank You
I have only used this cart once. It is really nice and works well for me. The only problem I have with it is the turning radius is not very good. In a crowed area it is very annoying to the people around me. For the price it is a great value.
After researching a lot for a scooter that was reasonably price, and easy to load into my car, I ordered the Scout 4 wheel from and got it in 2 days. Unfortunate the scooter had to be returned since the front and back end could not be taken apart. sent a replacement right away and this one was OK. For the price this scooter works fine, but you have to be careful where you use it due to a 2 ground clearance. DO NOT use it in the grass or a terrain with bumps.
It is very light and can be taken apart and load in almost any vehicle. Taking the front and back end apart is very easy but putting them back together takes a little practice, but it works fine. The batteries (2) are inside a box and is very easy to remove and put back. I own an old Rascal model 235 three wheel scooter that I use mainly around my yard and patio, and I am able to make complete turns in a very little space which the 4 wheel scout scooter cant do. The front wheels on the scout only move about 45 degrees compare to 90 degrees on my old 3 wheel Rascal, but my old Rascal cost almost 3000.00 versus this one at less than 700 delivered to your door and with the excellent warranty that gives to all their products. This scooter comes with 14 month parts ans labor warranty from .
All things considered the scooter is great for around the house (with limited ground clearance and turning ratio) and specially great for traveling or going to a mall or large store since it is very easy to load into your car.
