    Depends on your use

This is a hard review to write. Its that balance between what you expect from the description and reviews and reality. I was aware that this was not an off/road scooter and that is not what I wanted. I wanted something that would take me from my car to the store and back again. Something I could take on park paths or amusement park pavement. In other words, something that would take me from point A to point B as long as it was tile or pavement. Based on what I read, I thought this was it. While I had no problems in the mall, getting from the car to the mall brought up difficulties as there was a problem going up the handicap ramp. The sudden stop is a killer. Then it is turn the scooter off, turn it back on and then off we go again. This scooter does not like pavers at all and some sidewalks are made that way. A little clump of grass showing through the sidewalk will also shut you down. What makes this more confusing is that you never know when youll get stuck. I had trouble with one handicap ramp but not another even though they were both made the same way. I dont know if it was speed or angle or whatever. The wide area needed to turn does not make this good for small areas, such as inside my house or getting in and out of an elevator and it doesnt have shocks so you have to be ready to get jolted. That said, I like the wide seat, it feels sturdy and the basket holds my bag easily. I actually use the arms on this one whereas I took them off my old one. I was impressed with the angle of an incline it was able to take without losing any power. It responds quickly and the speed is easy to adjust. I had to dial down from rabbit as the kids couldnt keep up. It is fairly easy to take apart to transport but will take a bit more time to be comfortable being able to put it all together. As I only use it for those times I have a distance to walk, I may feel differently the more I use it. If thats the case, Ill update my review.

Easy to take apart and put together so I can

Easy to take apart and put together so I can take it anywhere in the back of my hatch back car. Easy to steer and with a little practice, I can pretty much get it anywhere without crashing into anything or having to backup and try again.

Well made, great deal! Hello, World!

I purchased this as a bid for freedom outside the home. I wanted something dependable, motorized, and transportable. I did a lot of research, and found this appeared to fit my needs best for the price. had the best price I could find at 624 (with shipping cost figured in), and I received the interchangeable blue parts included with the deluxe version to boot! I am very glad I got this! I am able to use this to get out and work in the garden, visit a friend, or go to the local businesses. It is an indescribable joy to be able to leave the house and get around town. The farthest trip I have taken totaled about three miles (with many inclines and declines), and the scooter was definitely slowing down by the end. In a flat land without ramps, little hills, or grass it would probably last longer without slowing down. As with my motorized wheelchair (also made by Pride), I have to be careful about inclement weather and get stuck easily. I do fine on my flat lawn, though can get high/centered on the thick grass at the park. From my own experience, as with other mobility equipment, just be careful and dont go somewhere that looks like you might get stuck unless you have someone to pull you out. And mount an umbrella onto your scooter, or at least bring one with just in case it rains. A little rain has not caused any issues for me yet, I tend to forget my umbrella if it is not attached. I have read reviews across the web about improvements for ones needs that can be made to this particular scooter, including larger wheels for rougher terrain and larger batteries for longer trips. Some can be purchased on , such as cup holders and mounts for various devices. I myself have a safety flag mounted on the back for better visibility, and envision more custom/ability of this spiffy set of wheels. Happy adventuring to all you beautiful riders!

I am pleased with my power chair

I am pleased with my power chair. It is very well constructed and seems to have plenty of battery life.

Reasonable price, good value, pleased with performance after first month of use

Ive owned several different brands and sizes of scooters over the past 10 years. I needed a small/midsize scooter to replace my larger scooters that weigh up to 200 pounds. Primary use for this scooter is shopping, sightseeing and travel on airplanes and/or rental cars. My larger scooters always required a hitch/mounted carrier due to their size and weight. Purchased this scooter after reading many favorable reviews. Price was very reasonable and it arrived a few days early from the expected delivery date. Unit was boxed well, undamaged, easy to assemble and the battery charge was quick. PROS / Easy to break down for transport, typically can be done in 1/2 minutes max. Lightweight, very easy to load with battery and seat removed. Usually do not need to completely disassemble (Break front and rear apart). Controls function well, speed control is very even from slow to fast. Like the delta steering handle. LED battery strength indicator is easy to see even in sunlight. Cruising range (with standard battery) appears to be fine. Can drive all day (on paved surface without too many inclines). Good instruction manual, detailed and also identifies accessories if needed. CONS / Wish it had slightly larger tires, tires are small and ride can be rough at times (solid rubber tires, not pneumatic) Horn is wimpy, not very loud. Wish it had a built/in headlight and larger reflectors on the rear. Seat is adequate, but not a lot of padding if you sit on it for long periods of time. Battery tray must be completely free of any debris for battery to make contact (even a small rock can prevent the battery from powering/up). Not a ton of foot room. I wear size 13 shoes and Im always hitting the charge port cover and/or battery reset switch. Seat post adjustment limited, Im 6 feet 4 inches tall and had to drill an extra hole to get the seat height to an acceptable level. Ive had this scooter for a little over a month and am pleased with it so far. Its not a Cadillac, but its not a Yugo either. Ive added duel clamp/on cupholders to the steering tiller (where the front basket normally sits), and fabricated my own cane holder that also attaches to the steering tiller. Bought and installed a small backpack on the seat back to carry a vinyl all weather scooter cover and the battery charger. Would recommend this scooter as a compact and lightweight device to move easily through stores and crowded areas. It is attractively designed, color change panels (red/blue) included are easy to change.

    Nice scooter.

Easy to put together//easy to control//much faster than I anticipated. Turning radius takes A LOT of getting used to (my only dissatisfaction) Ive ordered the large basket and the larger battery and charger for my machine // but thats just because of the way I use it, not because either are necessary. Heck of a nice little scooter at a very affordable price
