Easy to assemble. Larger than I expected. Plenty of room. We camped on the coast where the humidity is high, and I felt like maybe this tent may not be the best in a very rainy spot, but overall a great tent!
We like to have plenty of space; so, the tent worked great for 2 people inside the sleeping area. Note that the screened porch can really only accommodate 2 people. Set up take down were quick easy. The tent offers very little privacy when dark outside light sources are on inside.
This tent is awesome for a family of 4 to fit comfortable. With the large footprint, you can arrange inside as needed. Covered area is good for keeping things inside, but not in the sleeping area. Its easy to setup and we have not had any issues w/ moisture inside. We typically mountain camp in the spring time, in our state morning dew is a definite and rain storms come out of no where. Due to its size, it is a little difficult to transport if hiking out there, unless you can fit parts into a pack. Its great for light/medium camping, as this is its intended use. So, Im still giving it a 5.
We only used it a couple of times but so far it has been great. Lots of space. For us and our kitty. The kitty litter and our shoes stayed in the porch-like front section of the tent, keeping the rest clean. Unfortunately, all this space means its pretty big once rolled back together. The bag the tent came in is too small to cram it back into. We use another bag for the rain flap otherwise we had to try to fold it really tight, and not all camping places come with a dry and flat tent folding area.
The tent worked out well for our summer camping trip. With two adults to setup it took us about 15min considering it was a windy day. Alot of ventilation which was great. The covered patio area was great for storage away from bugs but small to dine in and eat with a family of five. You would need a small 4ft-5ft long table nothing bigger to eat on if you do. The tent tore through one of the frame sheaths. Overall good experience with the tent. Fits 2 queen size air mattresses with good head room.
Weve used this tent in our last to trips to the mountains.
The tent is quite large, and has a nice area that is insulated from bugs. You can install two chairs and seat to read a book outside without being bothered by mosquitoes and the like, which is nice.
What I did not like:
- The back window is covered by the rain cover. You can make the rain cover close it by tying close to the tent, but there is no way to open it or close it from inside. This in my mind is the worst thing about the tent.
- The main door only opens to one side. My previous tent opened both sides and had a nice bug net that could be left closed with the door opened. Like the back window, this should be better.
- Overall air circulation could be better, and at the same time, if you try to close everything so the temperature is not too low at night, you wont get what you expect and the tent will get very cold. Our first night, it was about 50 outside and it was very cold in the tent. We had to be well wrapped in our sleeping bags
Overall we are just OK with it. I would not buy this tent again.
It didnt rain so I cant say very much for that but it doesnt seem that will survive in any major wind gusts. I hope it can that is why I bought a . I really did like the screened in porch, we were bombarded the bugs and just a few (25 or more) of the bigger bugs got in. Yes, we did make sure that all the zippers were closed.
Bought on the recommendation of a friend. really happy with it. Not lightweight to carry, quite bulky, but really spacious and love the porch area, easy to erect.

Borderline reasonable tent for the money

Easy to set up and take down.
Easy setup. Comfortable. Screened in porch made a cool sleeping area.
Comfortable
The inside stayed dried but the screen room gets wet if you dont have another tarp to cover if it rains but other then that its pretty nice.
Fantastic tent
