We were trying to save money on our shower head since we splurged on other things in our house renovation so we decided to buy this shower kit. However, it costs us 200 to get a plumber to come install it for us since there were no instructions in the box and were not experts, unlike the Moen brands that are easier to install. Our plumber did warn us about the cartridge clogging on these types of showers is common. He did recommend buying another brand but since we already had tile crew scheduled, we could not return it nor could afford buying another one. So just so you know, be aware of this issue. Well just have to see how it turns out. I really liked the color and over all finish of the shower though!
My handyman figured out how to install this fairly quickly despite the lack of instructions provided for the faucet set.

After only about one month of use, the matte black paint or coating on the handle started chipping away. I contacted the sellers and found the product is backed by a 1/year warranty BUT, warranty doesnt do any good if the company tries talking you out of a replacement part because: 1, the part is too difficult to replace and 2, parts come directly from China (in the midst of COVID) and itll take about a month to deliver.
Overall, I do NOT recommend this product. The product is cheaply finished with low/grade coating. I doubt the replacement part will hold up better than the original part I received. Do yourself a favor and invest in a well/known brand faucet that is guaranteed to last.
Very happy with the purchase! very good quality compatible with products which are much more expensive. Item arrived neatly packaged. The shower system is solidly built. No issues so far. Have been using it for more than 2 weeks now. Definitely recommend based on my experience so far
Flushed Shower Mixer Valve as stated in directions prior to enclosing behind new porcelain shower wall. After a week water pressure was very poor. Removed Shower Mixer Valve plate and removed cartridge. Cartridge was clogged with black gasket material. Flushed for a prolonged time, reinstalled and after a few weeks had same problem. Replaced cartridge with another cartridge (only type will fit) I purchased (exact same cartridge). Twice a day the shower drains all the water from the valve to the showerhead, which is considerable given the size of the rain shower head. Bottom line, the valve leaks slowly into water lines and over time fills up the plumbing lines and the shower head which eventually drains out into the shower enclosure. Im in the process now of having a plumber replace the Shower Mixer Valve. The system looks great and when it worked was nice, but right now its unreliable and wasteful. After spending thousands of dollars to remodel the bathroom I was hoping to have a reliable and working shower, not the case due to the Shower Mixer Valve.
I ordered this product looking for an inexpensive option for a client shower that we were building. To my surp, the shower came very well packed not only in custom packing materials but each component was also wrapped carefully in cloth. When I picked up the diverter, the weight was one of the features that demontrated that this was a quality system. The fittings were solid and everything I needed (aside from the rough/in plumbing) was in the box including a roll of teflon tape. I will definitely be recoomending the systems to future clients.
So here is my thoughts so far. Our bathroom remodel isnt finished yet and I havent actually used the shower heads so no feedback on water pressure or anything like that yet. However, when the plumber installed the Valves and handles, if you turned on water anywhere in the house, every single time you hear a metal clinking sound in the area where the valves are and it was insanely annoying. Plumber said it was because its not an American made item (aka cheap) and after multiple attempts to make fixes to make it work, the only option was going to Home Depot and buying 425 similar colored shower faucet sets so we could use those handles (matte black is impossible to find apparently and not common in stores like a nickel or chrome is). After replacing the faucets and Valves, the sound is gone. so now my 200 shower fixtures cost me 625 which is really bad. So, to the potential shoppers / just go to the box store and buy what you need there. Because at the end of the day, youre going to spend even more buying this one even though it does Look pretty.
I didnt personally install it but the plumber didnt have any issues that he mentioned. I had it installed from the top of my ceiling like a waterfall and it works great.
