The Platform Bed is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Assembly was relatively quick and painless, packaging simple and easy to discard. I definitely would have no problem recommending this product to anyone. Its sleek, beautiful and quite light considering its size and purpose. First off, 1 box, very heavy, kudos to my female UPS driver for getting it to the door. When first out of the box, you find yourself saying : Their is no way this is for a full mattress but once completed it actually is. Very sturdy with thick particle board wood.
Only thing I would suggest, have some extra screws around ( 1 1/2 inch) which I added to the 2 end boards to secure better. The biggest pain is getting the molding around once complete. You need to screw them to attach, and the angle is awful. ( wood glue would also work to close gaps between molding screws.
1 person pretty handy, about 1 hour.
Very happy with purchase
I have no real issue with the craftsmanship of the bed itself. What I do have issue with is the fact that I e/mailed customer support 4 times and got no response. 1 of the planks was broken in half and another was split. I am positive this happened during delivery/transportation of the bed BUT not my fault and therefore I requested 2 planks be forwarded to me. Never got a reply. I ended up using silver duct tape and some styrofoam to sturdy up the planks so I could use them and put the bed together.
While it looks fine, and I like having a low platform bed, this was one of the hardest things EVER to put together. Between me and my very strong boyfriend, we were both sweating and cursing by the time it was done. Its very heavy and probably cannot be moved unless you unassemble it. The next time I move I probably wont be taking it with me.
It looks fine though, and seems sturdy. Just not worth the effort it takes to put it to use.
We have had this bed now for about two years! It was very easy to put together, its very easy to dust and keep clean. We have not had any stability issues whatsoever and although it is on hard floor it never shifts position. Couldnt be happier.

Made in Canada it stated all over the box and once I opened it I could see the difference. Over the years I have assembled many RTA pieces of furniture and this one was somewhat challenging. First you need the right bit for your screw driver or you will strip the screws. This is Canadian Pine pressed wood. It is very solid. Anyway after struggling with proper measurement (purchase it and you will see what I am describing) I got this thing assembled. It looks great and it is solid not a single squeak while moving on my bed. Mine arrived in perfect condition with no scratches. For the money you will not be able to do better.

Can be used
It is hard to build it. The wood is not that good. But with the price, however, it is reasonable.
Inexpensivenot bad for the money
I would recommend using this in a guest room. It was somewhat difficult to put together (although Im not particularly handy with tools).
