I bought the scooter and it was easy to assemble. And fully charged it would not drive. I called and they took care of the problem immediately. is the only site I shop with because they are the best.
Plus the mistake was mine I had it parked in neutral.
I may not be mechanical but God knows Im grateful for this site to shop on. Its beautiful to ride it turns so easy period and extremely pleasurable to be out in nature again.
I have purchased Scout scooter and am impressed with its ruggedness and ease to assemble and disassemble. I have field tested it twice and have found that the range has been overstated in several reviews I have read. With the standard battery pack I have achieved a range of around 3 miles and just under 2 hours of constant use.
I did purchase a new set of batteries and received almost the exact same results with them.
This scooter is WELL worth the money I paid for it but did not want people to reply on getting greater distance or time on a charge and be caught without a backup plan. (since I have 2 sets of batteries now will simply travel with them both when I will be using it for longer periods)
This replaced an older model that finally stopped working. This is a big upgrade. The swivel seat gives easy entry, and the distance between seat and handlebars adjusts to the drivers needs. Mom says, This cart has some super features and Im now zipping up and down the driveway. We have lift/off!
Fits right in back of my Sorento. Ready to go. Love the freedom it gives me. Everything is easily accessible. Runs all day. Turning could be a little better but the price makes up fo it.
Got it a couple days ago and charged it up. I also bought a pride scooter about 6 months ago that I gave to my mother who is also disabled. I bought a drive scooter this time because of the price 700 which saved me 500 over the 1200 price of the pride scooter / big mistake, the pride scooter is far superior. In comparison, the scout has a larger turn radius, is louder, the ride is not as smooth, the seat height is too low and not as comfortable, the chassis is heavier, the basket is hard to put on, its harder to assemble, and the quality isnt as good. If I could do it again I would have bought another pride scooter. Again, if money is a big deal than the drive scooter is a bargain. The only thing better about the scout is the price and the basket in the front is a little bigger but hard to attach. For the money I recommend it but Id pay more for a pride scooter.
A good quality machine. A bit expensive. After charging it up it goes quite fast. The front basket is difficult to install, I had to heat it up with a hair drier to soften the plastic then it went on with only a little difficulty. I think it is a good quality machine but cost a little too much.
This is a great product for the price. It was well packaged and super easy to assemble. It has several adjustments that allow it to work with different body types. I have only one complaint and it applies in cases where a senior user needs to use the battery charger. The plug and socket used on this scooter is NOT SENIOR FRIENDLY. It requires fine motor skills, good close up vision, and modest hand strength to insert. The plug has 3 prongs that must be aligned carefully before it will fit in the socket. Moreover the socket is low on the scooter forcing the senior bend at a awkward angle to operate it. For a normal healthy adult the socket is easy to use but if you have arthritis in your hands and if you fine motor skill are weak youll have a problem doing this without help.

Great product with one serious flaw for senior users
