I purchased this scooter after I broke my cuboid bone in my foot and the doctor told me I couldnt put weight on it. Ive been in a hard boot. The scooter was not all that hard to put together. The bolt that goes through the seat post was a little complicated as the screw isnt that long and its tough to get the washers and nut on. I had my dad help me with that part. Ive had the scooter now for two months and it has been a life saver. I had to contact Drive when I first got the scooter because the thing would start beeping after using it for a bit. Drive assumed it was the battery and sent me a replacement battery pack. They ended up having to ship the battery pack four times because they could not figure out how to securely pack a battery. Three of them arrived with the cases completed cracked up. The final one they shipped with packing and it arrived in good condition. However my problem is still there. I have learned that the battery gauge isnt reliable. The gauge will not drop lights leading to low battery. Instead it was loose the two green lights and start beeping that the battery is dead. IF YOU NEED TO DEPEND ON A BATTERY GAUGE THIS SCOOTER IS NOT FOR YOU. Ive noticed from reading reviews that Im not the only one that has this issue. If you can live without that then this is the scooter for you.
I have degenerative arthritis in my ankle and was unable to walk my dog. This scooter is pretty cool for what it is. I will say the ride is a little bumpy especially on sidewalks and the seat is ok comfort wise. The turning radius isnt great but gets the job done. As far as power, its got more than enough and I only use about half speed unless cruising along.
I would not necessarily recommend this scooter for people who would be using it all day, every day.
Purchased for 93 year old mother to navigate to the pool. some confusion on how to unlock the stearing, Clearification would be helpful in the manual. Sturdy and easy to drive. She has never driven a car and is comfortable driving this.
I do not know how I could be non/weight bearing without this scooter! It is GREAT! I have rotator cuff issues and artificial knees so that knee roll around and crutches are too painful for me to use.
Please make sure you unlock the front steering lock for small turning radiusthis is NOT put in the instructions and we only discovered this after reading the reviews.
Pros:
Good battery life
Good torque
Good traction
Quiet
Cons:
Uncomfortable seat
Difficult to tilt handlebars
Cramped at highest seat position (Im only 52)
Terrible turning radius
Hard tires = bumpy ride
Seating position is very far back, which gives good traction, but causes tipping and wheelies on steep slopes
Slow acceleration
When backing, if you hit something and let go of the controls, the motor doesnt stop immediately this resulted in tipping me over when I backed into a curb, but it didnt stop, and it sent me tumbling onto the sidewalk
Nice product. Having to make a couple of adjustments to it. Portability is No.1 in my book.Already had it on vacation with myself and wife to Florida. Fit right into the back of our rental Toyota. Considering changing seat to a boat seat. Not sure yet.Otherwise, very nice.

Nice scooter
This is a very nice scooter for the money, just wish it could easily attach a basket on the back.
Independence is a beautiful thing !

Well constructed, solid, easy to drive

No worries
Turning radius is large. Everything else is very nice. Easy to set up and dismantle. Fits into the Ford escape with little effort.
LOVE!!!
