Ive used this for about two months now, and have used it quite a bit. Learned the hard way that the battery guage does not work. It says full, then only drops one notch, and then dies. I was in the middle of a theme park when this happened the first time. not idea. Ive learned I have to charge it more often then I think just to be safe. The battery does seem to last a long time, but I just cant tell how full it actually is. Otherwise, this has been a life saver and has been great. It handles going over uneven terrain very well!
I took this scooter from Texas to Alaska and back( planes, ship, and taxis). It performed great! I highly recommend it if walking long distances is hard for anyone. A great buy for the price!
I absolutely love this scooter. I bought it when I had to stay in the hospital for my treatments, but not in the hospital overnight. I had to stay in my camper which was on the other side of the parking area for the patients. Needless to say it was too far for me to walk going through this treatment. This scooter saved so much aggravation. I didnt have to drive my vehicle. I could just hop on this little scooter and I could drive it all the way up to the 4th floor for my treatments. Its comfortable, its steers well, and the battery lasts about 9/10 miles. However, after sitting for three years not being used anymore the battery wouldnt charge my fault. I bought the bigger battery which is good for 14 miles on a charge I would highly recommend this little scooter to anyone.
This thing goes anywhere I need to go. Great on turns, ride around in my house and 5 acre yard. I have had it a month and have only had to charge it once.
Have used it at two different zoos and cruise all over Frankenmuth and had no issues with inclines or bumpy areas. The only thing that is negative is that while outside in Frankenmuth the battery gauge went down to about 2/3 and the unit died on me. Th gauge is very inaccurate and cant be used to judge how much juice you have left.
UPDATE The scooter was fine until you need some help. Battery is not charging and this thing has been used only 6 times. Customer service is terrible. You call the number and it just tells you to email them or chat online, will not let you talk with a person. So I chatted online, the person gave me a link to a webpage and then I asked another question and she never answered, then she was gone. I noticed on the clock it was 5pm so it was quitting time and she just left me without answering my questions
Purchased for upcoming trip. Received item 3 days earlier than promised. Easy to put together. Put Scout through ropes prior to trip. Ran it on uneven yard, worked great. Even ran down my driveway which is part stone and gravel including a hill which is approx. 45 degrees and about 30 yards up. Scout ran up hill just great, did it twice, no problem. Only thing I can remind people to do is make sure battery lock is tight on battery as in my case the first time on the driveway, do to shaking it lost contact. Readjusted and it worked terrific. For the money this unit is truly worth it. I would highly recommend this unit for anyone needing to go distances that they cannot walk. This was one of the best purchases I have made.
